When the iOS 10 rolls this out it will  include options which will make it possible for its users to be organ donors. All you need to do is to register through the baked-in-Health app, which will be added to the National Donate Life Registry. This app will provide additional information to all those interested in organ donation.
Jeff Williams, Apple’s chief operating officer, states,
“Apple’s mission has always been to create products that transform people’s lives. With the updated Health app, we’re providing education and awareness about organ donation and making it easier than ever to register. It’s a simple process that takes just a few seconds and could help save up to eight lives. Together with Donate Life America, we’re excited to deliver this new feature to iPhone users in the US with iOS 10.”
The Health app available on the iPhone will provide a complete view of your health as well as fitness data in one place. This app includes Medical ID, which will provide critical health information, available in case of any emergency. Medical ID will be able to display categories such as medical conditions, allergies, medications, and blood type along with emergency contacts.
