Apple Launches iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro, iPad, Apple Watch Series 7 and more

iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max

Apple has launched a new line of iPhones. Updates have been made to the higher-end iPhone Pro line with the 6.1-inch iPhone 13 Pro and the iPhone 13 Pro Max which is 6.7 inches featuring the A15 Bionic chip. The all-new iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini line has also been launched which packs in a 5-core CPU and a 50% increment in the GPU power.

The Proline features a Super Retina XDR display with ProMotion which has an adaptive refresh rate ranging up to 120Hz which is bound to make the experience smoother, faster, and more enjoyable and a huge leap in the battery life now lasts up to a full day. The A15 Bionic chip introduced is the fastest chip in any smartphone. 

The iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max have also been upgraded with an advanced camera system enabling an incredible experience than ever before with a macro photography capability on the new Ultra-Wide camera and a highly improved low-light performance on the new Wide lens resulting in up to 2.2x betterment. Video capabilities have also taken a massive leap with Cinematic mode for depth-of-field transitions similar to aperture changes in professional cameras and support for macro video, slow-mo, and time-lapses all in addition to improved low-light performance.

Moreover, the iPhone Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max support 5G with more bands supporting better network coverage and ships in with 1TB of storage capacity. The phone is now shielded with the Ceramic Shield in the front cover and is clearly tougher than any smartphone glass out there in the market.

iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Mini

The iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Mini features major innovations such as an advanced dual-camera – the first-ever in the iPhone range with a wide camera that supports Sensor-Shift Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and comes in five beautiful colors. It also racks in the powerhouse A15 Bionic chip which makes these phones super-fast and power efficient. These also come in a Super Retina XDG display and Ceramic Shield front cover. The entry-level iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Mini come with 128GB of storage, an IP68 rating water resistance capability, and 5G support. 

The iPhone 13 Mini and iPhone 13 prices start at $699 and $799 respectively which is lower than last year.

All the new iPhone 13 series is set to be available at Apple Stores and through the Apple website from September 24 onwards. 

iPad and iPad Mini

Apple also launched the iPad and iPad Mini which are set to be available from next week. The iPad comes with a 10.2-inch screen with a powerful A13 chip which is 20% faster in performance than the previous model. Apple has declared these iPads as now 3X faster than the Chromebooks and are enabled with the all-new 12MP ultrawide Camera that uses Machine Learning to adjust the camera in the front for the FaceTime video calls. Moreover, the iPad also supports the first generation of Apple Pencil and is priced at $329 for 64GB. 

The iPad Mini now rocks an 8.3-inch screen with smaller bezels with rounded corners with an upgrade in both the camera in the front and back. iPad Mini ships in with Apple’s liquid retina display and supports USB-C with magnetic support for Apple Pencil. The entry-level iPad mini is priced at $499. 

Apple Watch Series 7

Apple Watch Series 7 also got introduced which is comparatively slimmer than the previous generation of Apple watches while being wider than its predecessor. The display is 20% larger than the earlier version with 50% more text than can fit on the screen. Full Keyboard is supported on the screen which can be tapped and swiped to type text messages. Numerous features are added for activities such as bike riding with automatic detection as the ride commences or when the rider falls. The Apple Watch Series 7 is set to be priced starting at $399 and will be made available from the fall of 2021.
