AWS Announces The GA Of Amplify Flutter

Amplify Flutter brings together AWS Amplify and Google's Flutter; and enables you to build Cross-Platform Apps easily.

Recently, AWS announced the General Availablity of Amplify Flutter.

AWS Amplify is a set of tools and services for building secure, scalable Cross-Platform Apps. The solution supports iOS, Android, and JavaScript and is a quick and easy way to build applications.

Flutter is Google’s UI toolkit that helps you build natively compiled mobile, web, and desktop applications from a single code base. It is one of the fastest-growing mobile frameworks. Amplify Flutter brings together AWS Amplify and Flutter.

The GA release also adds three new capabilities: GraphQL API, Amplify DataStore, and Hosted UI.

AWS Amplify has recently added a GraphQL API backed by AWS AppSync as well as REST APIs and handlers using Amazon API Gateway and AWS Lambda.

DataStore offers a programming model for leveraging shared and distributed data without writing additional code for offline and online scenarios. This makes working with distributed, cross-user data just as simple as working with local-only data.

Synchronization with Amplify DataStore offers you different versions of an object across clients, and multiple clients may have updated their copies of an object. The solution converges different object versions by applying conflict detection and resolution strategies.  Auto Merge is the default resolution, and other strategies include optimistic concurrency control and custom Lambda functions.
