Azure Announces GA Of Hybrid Benefit Functionality For Linux

General Availability of Azure Hybrid Benefit functionality enables you to bring both your on-premises Windows Server and SQL Server licenses, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux or SUSE Linux Enterprise Server subscriptions to Azure.

Microsoft announced the GA of Azure Hybrid Benefit functionality for Linux customers.

General Availability of Azure Hybrid Benefit functionality enables you to bring both your on-premises Windows Server and SQL Server licenses, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux or SUSE Linux Enterprise Server subscriptions to Azure.

Microsft said that Azure Hybrid Benefit improves the cloud migration options with many capabilities that are unique to Azure and makes enterprise Linux cloud migration even easier than before.

Azure Hybrid Benefit applies to all Red Hat Enterprise Linux and SUSE Linux Enterprise Server pay-as-you-go images available in the Azure Marketplace. Users don’t need to provide their own image. It saves time with seamless post-deployment conversions, there’s no need for production redeployment. Users can simply convert the pay-as-you-go images they used during their proof of concept testing to bring their own-subscription billing.
