Recently, Blockchain development firm Stratis launched the first ever smart contracts on Microsoft's .NET architecture using c#.

Stratis Group Ltd has launched the Cirrus Sidechain Masternodes and Stratis Smart Contracts products. These are designed to develop smart contracts in the programming language C#. C# is a general-purpose language developed by tech giant Microsoft within its development platform .NET. This will purportedly enable businesses to deploy smart contracts on one underlying general-purpose blockchain.
 
 
  
Stratis's new products thus target enterprises, financial services companies, and also government organizations whose systems operate within Microsoft’s .NET framework, claiming to provide "a wide range of enterprise use cases, from tokens and lending platforms to provenance and self-sovereign identity solutions.

Stratis said that as a result of new releases from Stratis, two new wallets are now available for end-users. Stratis Core fully supports transfers to the Cirrus Sidechain, as well as incorporating the latest release of the Stratis Full Node.
 
While, the second wallet will look after the release of the Cirrus Core wallet and will enable users to create and manage a wallet, interact with Smart Contracts and deploy Smart Contracts as well as perform cross-chain transfers back to the Stratis Mainchain.
