Google Launches New Custom Cloud Control Feature

Google has recently launched a new cloud security feature which enables its customers to set the access policies for different user accounts. The new feature enables the developers to create service accounts on Google Cloud giving automated software agents to access multiple services.
Custom roles are not just for services. IAM custom roles can include or exclude permissions to match specific work roles.

As stated by Evgeny Minekevich, Integration Solution Architect at Scentre Group.
“As the largest owner and operator of shopping centers in Australia and New Zealand, data security is crucial to our business. Google Cloud IAM custom roles help us meet our security standards, legislative requirements and remain compliant with the Australian Privacy Principles. With this feature, we can implement identity and access control to the authorized tasks performed by a specific person or machine, allowing us to fine-tune permissions and rigorously conform to the principle of least privilege.”
With this new launch, the company also promises that it will keep investing in making IAM more easy to use to create and manage custom roles.
