Google Rolls Out Android 10

Android 10 brings advanced ML, support for foldable and 5G devices, and better privacy protection.

Recently, Google announced the public release of Android 10. The company has released the Android 10 source code to Android Open Source Project (AOSP).
Google said that Android 10 is built around three important themes, advanced machine learning, support for foldable and 5G devices, and privacy protection.
The new operating system extends multitasking over app windows and offers great screen continuity to maintain your app state as the device folds or unfolds.
Android 10 comes with additional platform support for 5G and extends existing APIs to help you take full advantage of 5G - faster speeds and lower latency.
Live Caption is a feature that automatically captions media playing on users’ devices, across any app. The new ML speech models run right on the phone, and no audio stream ever leaves the device.
The latest version 10, uses on-device ML to suggest contextual actions in notifications, for example, smart replies for messages or opening a map for an address in the notification
Version 10, is introducing a full gesture navigation mode. It eliminates the navigation bar area and allows apps to use the full screen to deliver richer, more immersive experiences.
Dark Theme ensures a consistent experience for users who enable system-wide dark theme by adding a Dark Theme or enabling Force Dark.
Better biometrics, Audio playback capture, Better codecs, and Better networking APIs are some of the other important features.
