IoT Plug And Play Preview Released

Microsoft released the preview of IoT Plug and Play which allows you to connect IoT devices to the cloud without writing any code.

Recently, Microsoft announced the preview availability of IoT Plug and Play. Microsoft had introduced IoT Plug and Play at Build conference in May 2019, where the company described how it will work seamlessly with IoT Central.

Here, Azure IoT Central is a fully managed IoT SaaS for easily connecting, monitoring, and managing your IoT devices and products. Azure IoT Central's integration with IoT Plug and Play takes the service one step further by allowing you to integrate devices without writing any embedded code.

According to the company, IoT Plug and Play simplifies device integration. It enables you to interact with IoT devices using device capability models(defined with the Digital Twin definition language).

With the preview release, you can now start using Azure IoT Central or Azure IoT Hub to build solutions that integrate seamlessly with IoT devices enabled with IoT Plug and Play.

Microsft said that it has also launched a new Azure Certified for IoT portal. Which is meant for device partners who are interested in streamlining the device certification submission process and get devices into the Azure IoT device catalog quickly.
