2. Tell us a little bit about yourself
 
I am an ardent Tech enthusiastic in SharePoint. For my exuberance in SharePoint arena, I was awarded with the coveted MVP (Microsoft Most Valuable professional) award consecutively for the last three years. I am C# corner MVP and core member of the site and currently leading C# corner Trivandrum Chapter. With more than 8 years of industrial experience, I am actively involved in various MSDN forums & news groups on a routine basis. I also hold membership in Developer Guidance Web Advisory Council of Microsoft. I authored more than 200 articles in SharePoint and also co-authored two EBooks Named SharePoint designer 2010 Essentials, SharePoint 2010 capacity planning. A Master’s Degree holder in Computer Application, I am also certified in MCTS in SharePoint 2007 application development. My contributions are mostly featured in C# Corner.  In addition I own and maintain a SharePoint user group in LinkedIn named SharePoint Server 2010 Experts

It’s all about community. Joined C# corner, seeing it having good vision and leadership

6. How does C# Corner has helped you professionally?

 
My name got spread over the word....now Google recognizing my name as Destin Joy through C# corner
 
7. How would you explain C# Corner to a young student?
 
Good place to learn, share and connect with new people and leaders.


8. Can you tell us about your family background?
 
We have a kid of 3 year, wife also working in the same profession. Mother at native and my father passed away recently.

9. What do you do for fun?
 
Write articles and try to connect with more people. Long Drives with my family. Enjoying the moments with my guard named “Puppy “(A Labrador Retriever dog)

10. What is your professional dream?
 
That I change each year. Currently 500 articles in SharePoint alone with 10+ books in SharePoint. Next year it be 1000+ articles and 20+books. Another dream is to became a Microsoft certified Architect in SharePoint.

11. What is that "one thing" you want to change or add to C# Corner Community?
 
Some social networking feature with real-time chat. If possible co-authoring a book with legends in C# corner.

12. If you are "GOD" and want to make one change to the world, what would that be?
 
Something to reduce the fuel price, which in turn reduces the cost of travel. Lot more but not telling, secret ..

13. Can you share that "one thing" you are proud of?
 
Lot of moments.
