Know Your MVP - Sachin Kalia

1. What is your name?

Sachin Kalia

2. Tell us a little bit about yourself.

I live in a small town Iqbalpur (Roorkee), Uttrakhand and currently work for MNC as 

a Module Lead. I have been a C# Corner MVP for the past 2 years. I keep myself busy learning technologies and I believe in sharing knowledge amongst various online and offline platforms. I share my learning/thoughts on my blog and one can follow me @dotnetpiper on Twitter.

3. How long have you been associated with C# Corner and has it helped you personally and professionally?

I have been associated with C# Corner for more than 2 years, I joined the C# Corner community in 2012. I am delighted to be a member of this community and more to say that it provides a roadmap about emerging technology like something new is about to launched or introduce. An easy way to touch base with technology freaks. It makes me glad when I get overwhelming feedbacks on my articles posted, which boosts me to share more fruitful article/blogs to the community. I feel happy to share my knowledge among all and sharing articles improved my writing improve and thought process X also.

4. How would you explain C# Corner to a young student?

I also consider myself to be a student and try to learn about everything. Personally I also recommend it to my friends known to share their knowledge in favor of community, I’d say C# Corner is a “Gyan-Sagar” (in terms of technology).

5. Can you tell us a little bit about your family background?

Yes, my father Works in a Sugar mill in Roorkeee and mother is a housewife. Apart from this my wife works as HR Recruiter in a MNC and younger brother works for pidilite industries.

6. Can you tell us about your education?

I did my schooling from a small town Iqbalpur (Roorkee), and completed my graduation from CCS university meerut. I passed the MCA from UPTU Lucknow.

7. What do you do for fun?

I am a sport freak so I love to play cricket, swimming and table tennis. I also love to roam around new places and enjoy moments shared with friends.

8. If you need to change one thing in this world, what would that be?

Poverty. We should be helping hands for each other and we should try to make someone happy.

9. If you need to make one change to C# Corner, what would that be?

Though C# corner is a big umbrella, I would like to fit myself under that though I wish I participate in upcoming chapters.

10. What inspired you to start contributing to communities and what do you get out of it?

I am truly inspired by "Dhananjay Kumar and Ravish Sindhwani”, after meeting them I started start contributing to community. I met DJ through ravish. DJ encouraged me to join the community & contribute. With God's grace it became a habit and turned into a passion and now I enjoy it. Thanks DJ and Ravish!
