Linux 3.14-RC1 Kernel Released

Linus Torvalds announced that Release Candidate 1 for the upcoming Linux kernel 3.14 is now available for download and testing.
Linux kernel 3.14 RC 1 has been released with a couple of updates, such as reorganized drivers, networking, mm, architecture updates (ARM mostly, x86, PowerPC, s390, mips, and ia64), tooling, core kernel improvements, etc.
Linus Torvalds states in an official blog, “Hey, it was a normal two-week merge window, and it's closed now. As far as I'm aware, I've pulled everything asked from me (with one exception, see later) and applied all patches I was meant to apply.”
This development version is only for the testing purpose and should not be installed on the production machines. Linus Torvald's release announcement for Linux 3.14-rc1 can be read on the kernel mailing list.
