Linux Lite 1.0.8 Officially Released

Linux Lite 1.0.8 operating system officially released. The Linux Distro Community has released yet another build of their very successful operating system Linux Lite 1.0.8.
Here’s the quick brief of what Linux Lite 1.0.8 has:
  • Mozilla Firefox has been updated to version 26.0.
  • Webcam has been added and the PAE kernel (32bit) install options are available through the Install Additional Software scripts.
  • The Lite User Manager has been implemented.
  • An option to install the Lite Software Center has been added.
  • The Whisker Menu is now available.
  • Linux kernel has been updated to version 3.8.0-34.
  • A custom .bashrc file has been added.
The blog recommend some minimal system requirements for installation.
  • 700 MHz processor+
  • 512 MiB RAM+
  • 5 GB of hard-drive space+
  • VGA capable of 1024x768 screen resolution
  • Either a DVD drive or a USB port for the iso
