Microsoft and GoDaddy Team Up to Bring Office 365 for Small Businesses

Microsoft and GoDaddy has struck an exclusive partnership to sell Office 365 email and productivity tools including a streamlined, lower-cost Office 365 bundle to small-business customers.
The deal shows the efforts of GoDaddy to increase the business solutions it provides for its 12 million small business customers. The partnership is good for GoDaddy and better for Microsoft as by incorporating Office 365 into GoDaddy’s own enterprise services, Microsoft can now attract more business customers.
GoDaddy will offers three plans to choose between, first is known as Email Essentials starts at $3.99 per month/user for 5GB of email storage and 2GB of space on SkyDrive. A mid-tier Business Essentials plan starts at $8.99 per user per month and offers 50GB of email storage space and 25 GB of SkyDrive Pro storage. The best plan, is the Productivity Plus plan for $12.49, which includes full access to Office 365 and desktop apps on up to 5 PCs and Macs, as well as rights to run the iOS and Android versions of Office Mobile on their iPhones and Android tablets and smartphones.
For all the plans GoDaddy is providing customer service, said CEO Blake Irving. “Every small business is looking for solutions in one place, so we want to be able to provide that,” said Irving in an interview. “Rather than go to a lot of different places to get these services, this is part of combining them together to make it easier for them.”
Meanwhile, Office 365 for GoDaddy is available in the US and Canada and will open up globally later this year.
