Microsoft Announces Free Anniversary Update For Windows 10

Microsoft just now announced new update to Windows 10 and codenamed Redstone, which is simply called the ‘Anniversary Update’. This is officially the largest update to Windows 10 OS and announced today at the Microsoft Build developer conference in San Francisco.

On July 29, 2015, Windows 10 was officially released, so we can expect an update after an year i.e. coming summer. Many great features are expected to roll out to Windows Insiders ahead of the launch date. The update will be available to all Windows devices, that includes Xbox One and HoloLens. Microsoft also announced users will be able to use Windows Hello to login to apps.
 
Enhanced stylus 
 
Enhanced stylus support coming to Windows 10. A new 'Ink Center' is provided that you can easily access while using a stylus.
 
Improved Sticky Notes
 
Sticky Notes have been improved to recognize your handwriting and automatically hyperlink notes with key information.
 
Cortana
 
Cortana reminders can be created right from your notes. You can also check addresses handwritten by users. So, Cortana experience has also been improved.
 
Touch experience
 
It has also made enhancements to your touch experience. Apps under the Windows Universal Platform can summon a digital ruler for plotting straight lines, and Microsoft demonstrated a touch-based stencil that was created while working with Adobe.
