Microsoft HoloLens Team Now Accepting Ideas

Earlier this year, Microsoft announced Windows Holographic, a mixed reality computing platform that allows users to create visual applications that can interact with live physical real-world elements with virtual elements. Microsoft HoloLens is the main device to support Microsoft Holographic applications.

Microsoft HoloLens is a smart-glasses headset that is a cordless, self-contained Windows 10 computer. It uses advanced sensors, a high-definition stereoscopic 3D optical head-mounted display, and spatial sound to allow for augmented reality applications, with a natural user interface that the user interacts with through gaze, voice, and hand gestures.

Microsoft HoloLens is one of the latest mixed virtual reality gadget from Microsoft announced on Jan 22 this year. Microsoft also announced the developer edition of HoloLens on Oct 22, 2015 and now accepting developer applications.

The Microsoft HoloLens team is now accepting ideas to build the futuristic HoloLens application. The ideas can be submitted through January 11th, 2016. The three most voted ideas will be reviewed by the Microsoft HoloLens development team and will be put up for a final vote on Twitter. The winning idea will be developed by the HoloLens team.
