Microsoft to introduce fresh plans for Office 365

Microsoft has planned to change its Office 365 cloud based productivity suite which will offer greater choice and flexibility. Releasing on 1 October’15, the plans are designed to meet the needs of the employees to replace the current small business, small business premium and midsize business plans.
Disclosed in one of the Microsoft’s blog:
•  Business plan will focus on desktop office application : Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote and Publisher
• Business Essentials plan will offer core cloud-based services : email, video conferencing, web based office apps and OneDrive for business
• Business Premium focuses on both; Business plan and Business essentials

The pricing for the new plans is:
• Business Plan : $8.25
• Business Essentials : $5
• Business Premium : $12.50

It has also announced the customers for existing small business and premium plans will get their seat limit raised to 300 from 25 users. Customers on the midsize business plan with already 300 seat cap will see a reduced monthly subscription of $12.50 per user, which was $15 earlier.
