New iPad Pro Comes With M1 Chip And Mini-LED Display

Apple launches new 12.9-inch iPad Pro featuring M1 chip, ultra-fast 5G, and Liquid Retina XDR display.

Recently, Apple at the Apple Spring Loaded event launched the most powerful and advanced iPad Pro ever with the power of M1 chip.

The 12.9-inch iPad Pro features a new Liquid Retina XDR display, ultra-fast 5G, and a massive leap in performance. iPad Pro now includes support for Thunderbolt, and comes with an all-new Ultra Wide front camera that enables Center Stage, a new feature that automatically keeps users perfectly framed for even more engaging video calls. Well, the new Liquid Retina XDR display brings the stunning front-of-screen performance of the Pro Display XDR to the 12.9-inch iPad Pro. The new cutting-edge mini-LED design of the Liquid Retina XDR uses more than 10,000 LEDs across the entire back of the display. Liquid Retina XDR provides up to 1000 nits of full-screen brightness, 1600 nits of peak brightness, and a 1 million-to-1 contrast ratio to enhance creative workflows. 

Not only this the new Liquid Retina XDR display also includes other advanced technologies that can also be found in the 11-inch iPad Pro, such as ProMotion, True Tone, and P3 wide color support.

The new device gives a 50 per cent jump over the performance of the previous iPad Pro. This allows you to blaze through editing photos and videos. The 8-core GPU delivers a 40 per cent faster performance than the previous generation.

According to Apple iPad Pro offers the broadest 5G coverage worldwide as it features the most 5G bands on any device of its kind. The device in the US support millimeter wave (the higher frequency version of 5G), that allows to reach speeds up to 4Gbps. The device also features support for eSIM, making it easy to find a network and sign up for a 5G data plan on the spot.

iPad Pro also brings support for Thunderbolt. Thunderbolt and USB 4 makes the USB-C port on iPad Pro the fastest, and most versatile port ever on an iPad, with 4 times more bandwidth for wired connections than the previous iPad Pro. Thunderbolt supports 10Gbps Ethernet.  This opens up a massive ecosystem of high-performance accessories, such as faster external storage and even higher resolution external displays, including the Pro Display XDR at full 6K resolution.

Apple said that the ISP and Neural Engine in M1 unlock even more capability from the pro camera system. This brings support for Smart HDR 3 for the first time to iPad Pro. In a low-light situation also the ISP and LiDAR Scanner can quickly and accurately focus images and videos to capture incredible details.

The new Apple iPad Pro is priced starting at INR 71,900 for the 11-inch variant and INR 99,900 for the 12.9-inch variant.

At the Apple Spring Loaded event, the company also announced new 24-inch iMac alongside iPad Pro.
