Recently, Nvidia launched the Jetson Nano 2GB developers kit, which is a new developer kit for students and enthusiasts with an interest in robotics.
The Jetson Nano 2GB developers kit is geared towards robotics enthusiasts, students, and educators that want to enter the field of AI and robotics.
Nvidia says that kit is a perfect tool for learning by doing. It has a familiar Linux environment, easy-to-follow tutorials, and ready-to-build open-source projects created by an active community.
The kit packs a 128-core NVIDIA Maxwell GPU, Quad-core ARM A57 @ 1.43 GHz CPU, and 2 GB 64-bit LPDDR4 25.6 GB/s Memory.
The entry-level Jetson Nano 2GB has been priced at $59. Developer Kit Contents include NVIDIA Jetson module and reference carrier board, Quick Start / Support Guide, and 802.11ac wireless adapter and extension cable.
The platform "is backed by a passionate developer community that actively contributes videos, how-tos, and open-source projects. Plus, NVIDIA offers free tutorials starting with an introductory "Hello AI World" and continuing to robotics projects like the open-source NVIDIA" says Nvidia website.
