Samsung Launches Ativ S with Windows Phone 8

Today, Samsung announced its new smartphone, Ativ S loaded with Windows Phone 8. Ative S has a 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED display, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, and an 8-megapixel rear camera paired with a 1.9-megapixel front-facing camera.

Good news for Windows Phone developers. Windows Phone 8 is finally here, well and alive.

Today, Samsung announced its new smartphone, Ativ S loaded with Windows Phone 8.

Samsung ATIV S is powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED display. It has two cameras. Main 8 MP camera with auto-focus and LED flash and front facing camera is a 1.9-megapixel.

Other features are microSD card slot for expanding the smartphone's 16 or 32GB on-board storage, and NFC for things like content sharing or mobile payments. The 2,300mAh battery is good enough for the day.

Microsoft announced Windows Phone 8 in June and since then there have been talks about Windows 8, Windows 8 RT and Surface Tablet.
