SQL Server 2014 Announced

SQL Server 2014 is expected to be released in 2014. SQL Server 2014 CTP 1 bits are expected to be released in next few weeks.

Today, at TectEd 2013, Quintin Clark, the Corporate Vice President of Data Platform Group announced SQL Server 2014. Based on this blog, SQL Server 2014 becomes the successor of SQL Server 2012. While the final release date is not available yet, but the SQL Server 2014 CTP 1 bits are expected to be released in a few weeks.
