Twitter to soon release new 'Topics' feature

This new addition will allow the user to follow and learn more about their specific interests

Next week, Twitter has announced that it plans to roll out a new feature allowing the user to follow specific topics of interest.

This feature, aptly named 'Topics,' lets you follow whichever subjects that intrigue you. It could be gaming, a TV show, sports, music, etc. As a result, you will receive relevant tweets from credible accounts on the specific topic that you follow, even if you don't follow these accounts.

This new addition should allow the user to become more involved in the Twitter community and find also find new accounts related to their interests. Twitter also hopes that it will make the platform more accessible for newer users.

Topics should be perfect for those who want to learn more about a certain issue that they are not familiar with, since there is no need to follow specific accounts. Additionally, if the user is a consistent follower of a subject, Topics will also be useful, as it will allow them to access more content and learn of new accounts related to their interests.

Topics is set to roll out globally on Wednesday, November 13. Click here to read a more detailed account of Twitter's upcoming feature.
