Updates To McAfee MVISION Cloud

McAfee announced McAfee MVISION Cloud updates for Microsoft Azure.

Recently, at Microsoft Ignite Conference, McAfee, the device-to-cloud cybersecurity company, announced updates to McAfee MVISION Cloud for Microsoft Azure.

McAfee said that new updates will help customers "Shift Left" with security to preemptively help to solve compliance and risk within their cloud infrastructure. And, with McAfee MVISION Cloud, security is pushed earlier into the DevOps process which allows security experts to intercept risky configurations before they become a threat in production.

Some of the new capabilities are:

Now, the Security Scans for Azure Resource Manager Templates will enable users to identify risky configuration issues in Azure Resource Manager Templates prior to deploying resources.

The solution now gives you security checks inside the DevOps pipeline by API integration with popular tools including Microsoft Git, Github, and Azure DevOps. Also, Security Feedback is natively integrated into the build process. This will save time, effort, and frustration.

New, Unified Cloud Security for Azure Ecosystem will enable developers to leverage Azure services knowing security will be built-in by design aligning closely to the Cloud Security Posture Management best practices.

And, Preemptive Risk Avoidance improves compliance with regulatory frameworks. And it lessens the possibility of data loss, abuse or fines associated with improper security controls by highlighting security findings before they become security incidents.
