Visual Studio Code 1.43 Released

February 2020 release of VSCode dubbed VS version 1.43 features Search Editors, Draggable sash corners and Linux screen reader support.

The Visual Studio team has released the February 2020 release of Visual Studio Code dubbed Visual Studio 1.43. This latest release features Search Editors, Draggable sash corners and Linux screen reader support.
 
The key highlights of version 1.43 include:
  • Search Editors - You can now search and save your global search results in a full-sized editor.
  • Draggable sash corners - This enables you to easily change the editor layout by dragging sash corners.
  • Linux screen reader support - Visual Studio Code now supports the Orca screen reader.
  • Minimap sizing options - These new options enables you to fit or fill the minimap vertical layout.
  • Column selection mode - It allows you quickly select blocks of text.
  • Display whitespace on selection - You can now render whitespace characters(only in selected text).
The new release also enables you to convert concatenations to JavaScript/TypeScript template strings. And JS/TS Call Hierarchy view enables you to review all calls to or from a function and drill into callers of callers.
 
Not only this, the latest release also brings support for Windows and macOS SSH hosts, SSH connection sharing. And - Settings Sync - allows you to share settings and keybindings across machines.
 
According to Visual Studio team Search Editors (A highly requested feature ) enables you view workspace search results in a full-sized editor, complete with syntax highlighting and optional lines of the surrounding context.
