VS 2019 v16.3 Preview 2 Released

Visual Studio 2019 version 16.3 Preview 2 and Mac version 8.3 Preview 2 now available.

Recenly, Microsoft announced the release of Visual Studio 2019 version 16.3 Preview 2 and Visual Studio 2019 for Mac version 8.3 Preview 2.
 
This new release brings several improvements for mobile developers in Visual Studio. There are many major productivity enhancements such as XAML Hot Reload for Xamarin.Forms and improvements to the XAML Previewer for Xamarin.Forms. Not only this, the new release also brings support for the latest Android Q APIs.
 
XAML Hot Reload for Xamarin.Forms will enable developers to make changes to their XAML UI and see them reflected live. Developers now will not need another build and deploy.
 
 
Also, XAML Hot Reload for Xamarin.Forms speeds up your development and makes it easier to build, experiment, and iterate on your user interface. You no longer need to rebuild your app each time you tweak your UI as it instantly shows the changes in your running app.
 
XAML Hot Reload for Xamarin.Forms can be enabled by:
Tools - Options  - Xamarin - Hot Reload - Enable XAML Hot Reload for Xamarin.Forms
 
The new release enables you to use Android Q Beta 4 Final APIs within Xamarin.Android. You can get started with the Android Q Preview by setting Compile using Android version - (Target Framework) to Android 10.0 (Q) under the Application tab of the Visual Studio project property pages.
 
The new release also brings the XAML Previewer for Xamarin.Forms in Visual Studio 2019 which is packed full of updates. Such as buildless previews, support for design-time data, and expanded support for custom controls. You also get the ability to visualize UIs utilizing Xamarin.Forms Visuals and also as the Material Visual.
 
The iOS Designer has brought a new way to work with constraints. If you select a constrainable view in the design view, an ellipsis will now appear in the designer toolbar, right next to the Constraints Pinning mode selector. You can edit constraints on the selected view by clicking the ellipsis to display the popover.
