The last month’s report by
AdDuplex showed us that around 5.7% devices were running on
Windows 10. This percentage has recently increased by 1.3%, which means that a total of 7% phones are working on Windows 10.
This percentage is really interesting as it is only for Windows Insiders, as
Microsoft has yet not released the Windows 10 update for mobile. It was just recently that the launch of
Windows Insider Build 10586 took place. This update is expected to be the same version shipping which is available in Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL.

It is being assumed that just like Windows 10 for PC, the Windows 10 update for mobile would have faster adoption rate, for users, already using Windows phone.
According to the
AdDuplex November report published in
Windows Central, it highlighted Turkey for the very first time. It turns out that the device distribution is a bit different here that the rest of the world. Here, Lumia 1320 is extremely popular and is the second most popular and most widely used Windows Phone with 11%.
The most popular Windows Phone which is available in Turkey is Lumia 520. In fact, you will be surprised to know that the top ten Windows phone in Turkey is the older Lumia devices, such as Lumia 520. Lumia 820, Lumia 920 and Lumia 625. This suggests that the growth of Windows Phone in Turkey have either stopped, or users are less likely to update their phone every year or so.

We do not see many changes in the US, which means that the growth from the newer Lumia 640 and 640 XL has slowed down. This model has gained a modest 2.2 percentage over the last month, and it is the biggest achievement in the Windows market. It now commands 14.5% of all Windows Phones, but it is still a small percentage compared to Lumia 635, which is 32.5%.
