Windows Template Studio 1.7 Now Available

Windows has recently released Windows Template studio 1.7.

Windows has recently released Windows Template studio 1.7. As per official Microsoft official blog company has released two key items i.e. Visual Basic Support and Prism Framework.

Here is a list of adjustments in the latest release.

  • Added support for Visual Basic Programming Language
  • New Prism framework support added
  • An updated feature of URI Schema for Caliburn.Micro added
  • Improvements in Template section are made
  • Improvements made to the wizard including bug fixes and several code improvements
  • Improved unit testing for verifying templates

As per the official announcement, you can get this update as,

There are two paths to update to the newest build.

  • Already installed: Visual Studio should auto update the extension. To force an update, Go to Tools->Extensions and Updates. Then go to Update expander on the left and you should see Windows Template Studio in there and click “Update.”
  • Not installed: Head to, click “download” and double-click the VSIX installer.
