Xiaomi Launches Mi Band 2

Xiaomi has finally unveiled its Mi Band 2, right after CEO Lei Jun showed it off back in April. The third-generation activity tracker arrives two years after the initial Mi Band, and it comes with numerous new features, which include OLED display, an optional heart rate sensor, and a battery life of 20-days, along with calories and sleep tracking.

The company states,
“Mi Band 2 is IP67 certified water resistant and you don't need to worry of using it in water. You can happily use under shower, while you swim! With new design, Mi Band 2 looks stunning with many color options.”
The Mi Band 2 is quite capable of unlocking your Xiaomi phone, and at the same time, providing notifications from it. It will also tell you to move, if you have been sitting too long in the same place. This wearable device comes with swappable silicon bands, hence allowing you to change the color of your tracker as per your wish. However, just like any other Mi device, the best feature of this particular device is its unbelievably low price. The Mi Band will cost around $23. This device will be available in China on June 7.
