MonoDroid is now Mono for Android

In a recent move of Xamarin, MonoDroid is named Mono for Android.

MonoDroid is now Mono for Android

If you have been following my mono related blogs, you must have read Xamarin has taken over MonoTouch and Mono for Android. One thing is for sure, Xamarin did not get or use name MonoDroid. The new product is called Mono for Android. I kind of liked name MonoDroid, similar to MonoTouch.

OK so there is my Visual Studio 2010 templates for MonoDroid before (couple of months old).

This is my Visual Studio 2010 templates looks like now.
