Event handling framework with support for web farms

Hi,

I am looking for Frameworks, utilities and articles regarding event handling frameworks. Our product have the following demands:

* Support for web farms (Multiple servers)

* Low complexity, as few components as possible

* Possible to propagate Exceptions and messages generated by the event listeners to the GUI

* Support transactions
