Permissions in Visual Studio

Question

Hi,

I created a several tables in sql. Including tblUsers, tblUserGroups and tblPermissions. In visual studio, i have a form called user groups where an administrator can allow/prevent access to the usergroups and their access to certain forms in the app. How do I go about granting permissions in visual studio? Is it possible to do so initially in sql? I am new to this and please bear with me. Hope you can help.
