Export RDLC Report to Excel without Report Viewer

Hello,

I am trying to export RDLC report without ReportViewer. I am using Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 and Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2.

I am new to RDLC things. I am searching for the tutorial then I found this link --> http://www.c-sharpcorner.com/UploadFile/6bb76f/create-rdlc-report-in-vs-2010-and-sql-server-2008/

I've been follow all the steps, but I don't need ReportViewer on the page. What I need is just filtering then user only click 'Export to Excel' button. I found this article --> RDLC - Export directly to Excel or PDF from codebehind

But I got an error.
