Job Description
Our client is looking for a talented senior Technical Product Manager to define and drive the requirements and technical design for a state of the art real user monitoring product. You will interface with business owners and technical architects as well as other teams across the company.

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with technical architects and business stakeholders to gather technical and business requirements.
  • Plan and coordinate the work to deliver features, enhancements and capabilities with the engineering organization and business support teams.
  • Coordinate product launch activities with the marketing, sales, and support departments
  • Create, manage, prioritize and communicate the product roadmap and report progress to stakeholders.
  • Serve as the technical communication focal point between the engineering team and the rest of the organization.
  • Help engineering define, break out and manage the work that needs to be done in order to deliver new product capabilities.
  • Manage priorities between forward development work and support for critical production platform components.
  • Support marketing activities owned by other groups (i.e. case studies, trade shows and conferences, Sales training, RFP responses, etc.)
  • Develop product and solution positioning and competitive analysis to support Marketing, Sales and Partners
  • Create thought leadership content to improve awareness of organization's innovative technology
Qualifications and Experience
  • Excellent oral/written communication skills.
  • A minimum of 7 years experience gathering business/technical requirements and turning them into detailed functional design specifications / user stories.
  • Relevant industry experience in end user monitoring (active and passive), application performance monitoring and real user monitoring preferred.
  • Experience managing technology projects involving both business and technical stakeholders.
  • A degree in technical field or related discipline preferred.
  • Proven track record of being able to drive solutions for complex technical issues on software development or infrastructure projects.
  • Must be able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, prioritize workload effectively, and thrive in a dynamic and complex environment.
  • Familiarity with product development including mobile technology, tiered architecture, data organization, and performance optimization
  • A high degree of creativity and innovation is expected, with proven examples of success in working across geographies and complexity, applying knowledge, experience, and judgment in ambiguous situations/environments.
Desired Qualifications
  • Has demonstrated understanding of web and mobile performance, specifically front-end performance analysis/optimization
  • Has demonstrated understanding of product management discipline – including product lifecycle management, product launches, and use cases analysis
  • Has demonstrated desire and ability to learn new technologies quickly
  • An understanding of the following performance measurement methods and W3C standards: Navigation Timing, Resource Timing, User Timing, Real User Measurement (RUM), Synthetic Monitoring, Application Performance Monitoring (APM)
  • Working knowledge of Web communication protocols, specifically TCP/IP protocol, HTTP, TLS
