Prevent User From Changing Color and Appearance in Windows 8

Introduction

In this article, we are explaining how to prevent users from changing the Windows Color and Appearance in Windows 8. By default, the user can use the Windows Color and Appearance in Windows Control Panel. If you want to change the Windows color then you right-click on the Personalized tab in Desktop Mode and can change it.

If you want to prevent users from changing the Windows Color and Appearance then you can click on the "Enable " Button for disabling the Windows color. If you have enabled this setting then none of the Windows Color settings can be changed by the user. Windows 8 helps you prevent modification of the Windows Color and Appearance.
This setting prevents users from using the Control Panel to change the glass color and color scheme of the Desktop and Windows. If you specify "Disabled" or "Not Configured", the Window color page or color scheme dialog is available in the Personalized or Display Control Panel.

If you want to see the options for the Windows Color and Appearance then right-click on the desktop and select Personalized, before "Prevent Changing Windows Color and Appearance". You will see the option for changing the Windows Color and Appearance. These areas are seen in the following figure.
