Introduction

In this article we are explaining how to prevent the user from changing the Color Scheme of the current Desktop theme in Windows 8. By default the setting is "Not Configured" and users can change the color scheme. This setting can force the theme color scheme to always be the default color scheme.

Windows 8 helps you "Prevent Changing Color Scheme". If you "Enable" this setting, then a user can not change the color scheme of the current Desktop theme. If you set this setting to "Disable" or "Not Configured" then a user may change the color scheme of the current Desktop theme.

You click on "Enabled" Button to disable the color scheme of the current Desktop theme. Windows 8 provides the ability to disable the changing color scheme of the current Desktop theme. If you want to disable changing the color scheme then you can open the "gpedit.msc". You enter the gpedit.msc in the search box and click on it and follow the steps.
