Turn On Notifications Features in Windows 8

This article describes how to enable Notifications in Windows 8.

In this article we are explaining how to enable Notification in Windows 8. Many applications are available in the Windows 8 Metro Screen. You can enable all notification applications such as Internet explorer, Messaging, Music, Video, Alarms etc. You can manage Notifications Settings. You can adjust whether you want notifications on your lock screen or whether you do not want them at all.

We can turn on the Notifications sound features. Windows 8 allows enabling notification sounds to be notified when something happenings. The steps for enabling notification in Windows 8 are given below.

How to Enable Notifications in Windows 8

Step 1

Access the Charm Bar on the right side of the screen or the Windows Key + C on your keyboard and click on settings.

Step 2

After clicking on Settings, you will click on More PC Settings that shows up in the end.

Step 3

In this step, you will see the PC settings. Click on the Notification Option in the left pane.

Step 4

In this step, you will see the Notification Window. By default all options will be turned on. You can move the black scroll from the left to the right to enable the notifications.
