How to handle onfocus event in javascript when someone focuses textbox in asp.net

Hello.

i am new to asp.net.

i want to capture onfocus and onleave event in JavaScript when someone focuses the textbox
or leave the textbox, i know it is client side event and must be handled in JavaScript or jquery but how to do it.???
