Job Description

As an Accommodation Consultant (AC) at ADCI HYD 16 SEZ, you will be integral in facilitating accommodations for employees, ensuring compliance with state and federal disability laws. Your role involves being the primary point of contact for employees throughout the accommodation process, requiring exceptional communication, organizational skills, and a customer-centric approach. You'll collaborate closely with stakeholders, manage cases end-to-end, and serve as a subject matter expert on accommodation best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough accommodation reviews to support employee requests while ensuring compliance and safety in assignments.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on the accommodations process and relevant disability laws, providing guidance to stakeholders as needed.
  • Coordinate the accommodation process, from initial request to final decision, while providing comprehensive case management.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including leave of absence case managers, to determine and finalize accommodation approvals or denials.
  • Communicate accommodation decisions clearly to employees, disseminate Job Accommodation Records (JARs), and ensure implementation with relevant stakeholders.
  • Educate employees, HR, and other stakeholders on return-to-work processes, accommodations, and complex case management.
  • Maintain accurate case records and documentation in internal systems, adhering to SLAs and quality standards.
  • Provide training for employees, managers, HR, and others on disability issues and accommodation processes.
  • Collaborate with third-party administrators, legal, safety, payroll, and other departments/systems as necessary.
  • Participate in additional activities and projects within the Disability Leave Services (DLS) program.
  • Maintain regular, reliable attendance and perform other duties as assigned.
  • Ability to travel as needed, up to 25% of the time.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 1+ years of case management experience, preferably in investigations.
  • 1+ years of human resources experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or equivalent.
  • PHR and/or CPDM certification preferred.
  • Proficiency in computer operating and database management.
  • Strong time management skills with a detail-oriented approach.
  • Ability to analyze, problem-solve, and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Experience building strong relationships and influencing others in a cross-functional environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
