Job Description

As a Trust & Safety Data Analyst on the AI Protection team at Google, you will be at the forefront of identifying and combating abuse and fraudulent activities across Google products, ensuring the safety and integrity of our users and partners. You'll leverage your technical expertise and analytical skills to develop scalable safety solutions for AI products using machine learning and AI techniques. 

Minimum Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research) or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in data analysis or data science.
  • Experience with programming languages (e.g., Python, R, Julia) and database languages (e.g., SQL).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in abuse and fraud disciplines focused on web security, harmful content moderation, and threat analysis.
  • Experience in applying machine learning techniques to datasets.

Responsibilities

  • Develop scalable safety solutions for AI products across Google by leveraging machine learning and AI techniques.
  • Apply statistical and data science methods to examine protection measures, uncover potential shortcomings, and develop insights for security enhancement.
  • Drive business outcomes by crafting compelling data stories for a variety of stakeholders and leadership.
  • Develop automated data pipelines and self-service dashboards to provide insights at scale.
  • Review sensitive and possibly graphic, controversial, or upsetting topics or content.
