Your Role and Responsibilities

As a member of the IBM Product Development team, you'll utilize your expertise in Agile Development practices and programming skills in C/C++, Golang, or Python to develop, debug, and maintain microservices on container-based products in Cloud environments. You'll collaborate with top industry minds, employing the latest tools and techniques to build innovative solutions.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop new features and enhance existing frameworks in C/C++, Golang, or Python
• Debug production issues and support Ops/SRE
• Design, deploy, and maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Automate repetitive tasks and ensure thorough documentation
• Manage infrastructure servers and services

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 3+ years of experience in software development
• Proficiency in C/C++, Golang, or Python
• Familiarity with Cloud providers like AWS and IBM Cloud
• Knowledge of database technologies (SQL, NoSQL, Graph Databases)
• Understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift Container Platform, and Linux Operating Systems
• Expertise in Shell scripting
• Experience with version control systems like GitHub and Jenkins
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies

Preferred Technical And Professional Expertise

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Working knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes, DevOps, Microservices, RedHat OpenShift
• Willingness to lead and work on quick proof of concepts
