About the Job

At Google, our gTech Professional Services team is focused on delivering solutions that address our customers' business objectives. As a Customer Solutions Engineer in the gTech Professional Services team, you will be part of the Customer Solutions Engineering (CSE) team within Ads. Your mission will be to partner with sales teams on strategic customers, big bets, and large opportunities to drive growth in Ads’ business through the creation of technical solutions.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical subject, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience with web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and HTTP), and experience with database querying and optimization.
  • Experience in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C++, Python).
  • Experience working with and managing external partners/customers.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or MBA degree.
  • Customer facing experience in sales, sales engineering, consulting, or related function.
  • Experience in the online advertising industry.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to adapt your message to the technical level of the audience.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent project management skills and attention to detail.

In this role, you will

  • Work closely with our sales team to identify, develop, and optimize new business opportunities leveraging Google products and technologies.
  • Serve as the technical lead, developing solutions and providing consulting services to our partners.
  • Propose, design, create, and present prototypes, demos, and proofs-of-concept to various audiences.
  • Deliver deep technical value to customers' online and digital initiatives.
  • Travel as required to meet with specific partners/clients in the region.
