Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert privacy compliance advice to internal stakeholders and execute operational privacy tasks.
  • Develop and enhance existing/new Privacy/Data Protection policies, procedures, and privacy documents.
  • Review and ensure adherence of clients’, vendors’, and legal entity subsidiaries’ Privacy/Data Protection policies and governance documents to organizational standards.
  • Conduct relevant privacy assessments for internal stakeholders and assist in their completion.
  • Prepare privacy incident reports and recommend corrective actions.
  • Address privacy issues identified in compliance testing, risk assessments, audits, regulatory examinations, and other monitoring activities, and develop mitigation plans.
  • Monitor and track compliance requirements for assigned functions/projects.
  • Drive continuous process optimization and implementation of privacy compliance requirements based on documented data processing activities.

Key Skills

  • Proficiency in Privacy Regulations such as EU/GDPR, UK GDPR, CPRA, CCPA, etc.
  • Familiarity with Privacy Management/compliance software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to assess current processes, identify improvement areas, and propose solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications, Certifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT/Application development/Support or related field.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Data Privacy.
  • 8 years of total experience in process and documentation.
  • Hold at least one relevant certification in Privacy – CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT, or equivalent.
