Job Description

Job Title. Data Analyst/Scientist

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and program methods, processes, and systems to consolidate and analyze "big data" sources, generating actionable insights and solutions for client services/product enhancement.
  • Build prescriptive analysis to estimate the impact of product features.
  • Develop and implement data scraping, cleaning/processing, and Artificial Intelligence algorithms, including Natural Language Processing, to analyze system design and identify defects.
  • Actively participate in Research & Development (R&D) projects to tackle top data analytics challenges in the industry.
  • Collaborate with product/service teams to identify questions for data analysis and experiments.
  • Develop and code software programs, algorithms, and automated processes to cleanse, integrate, and evaluate large datasets from multiple disparate sources.
  • Identify meaningful insights from large data sources, interpret them, and communicate findings to product, service, and business managers.
  • Build data pipelines and visualization/dashboards to provide data insights for decision-making.
  • Create business cases to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.
  • Conduct financial planning and forecasting, utilizing best-practice pursuit management tools and processes.

Qualification and Experience

  • M. Tech in Computer Science or Information Technology with 60% marks, with nominations invited from IITs and NITs.
  • Relevant exposure or work experience would be an added advantage.

Skillset Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Batch 2023/2024.
  • Proficiency in demand forecasting tools such as Python Packages, Demantra and statistical tools like R or SAS.
  • Data modeling skills to support business report creation using SQL and Business Objects (BO).
  • Experience in production support with systems such as SAP, Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW), and Bill of Material (BOM) management.
  • Competency in SAS or R Statistical Modeling.
  • Ability to create data visualizations and develop dashboards.
  • Competency in designing, querying, and integrating with relational and/or graph databases.
  • Experience in algorithm design, development, and implementation, including linear programming and optimization.
  • Strong and confident communication and presentation skills.
