Visa's Corporate IT (CIT) group is undergoing a significant transformation journey to become a true engineering organization, prioritizing customer experience and end-user support. As part of this initiative, we are consolidating several operational functions into a single area focused on delivering world-class operational support to our end users. The Visa Finance Technology team is seeking curious, creative, and technically proficient individuals to join our expanding team. We are dedicated to delivering and supporting integrated platforms that enable Visa's finance applications, utilized by Visa business partners to serve clients globally. Additionally, we develop analytics and reporting using revenue data.

Primary Responsibilities

As a full-stack Java/J2EE developer with experience in front-end technologies like Angular, you will.

• Design, develop, and test new applications, as well as maintain existing applications, within a cross-functional scrum team.
• Develop code that aligns with design specifications, security standards, and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with architects, systems analysts, project managers, QA, and other developers to implement business requirements, leveraging the latest tools and technologies.
• Participate in design and code review sessions to ensure quality work delivery in accordance with development standards.
• Foster working relationships with global and virtual teams on software development projects.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's degree OR 5+ years of relevant work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Master, MBA, JD, MD).
• 4+ years of relevant experience in the software industry.
• Proficiency in Java/J2EE technologies, with experience in frameworks like Spring, Sprint MVC, JPA, and Hibernate.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases is required, along with familiarity with microservice development and containerization.
• Proficiency in UI/Web development using JavaScript and UI frameworks like Angular/React.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Web Services Development using SOAP or REST, JSON, and XML.
• Proficiency in GIT/Stash, Maven, and CI/CD practices.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum team environment.
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technology/engineering discipline.
