About the Opportunity
This position is for one of Uplers' clients, a Chicago-based company working on financial products to assist banks, financial institutions, and asset managers. As a Backend Python Developer, you will play a crucial role in developing efficient, reusable, and scalable code for highly responsive web applications.

• AWS, CI and CD, MySQL, Node Js, PostgreSQL, Python, RestAPI
• Role-based AI Screening covering Communication and Technical Skills

Roles & Responsibilities

• Write efficient, reusable, and testable code.
• Analyze and implement business needs and feature modification requests.
• Integrate user-oriented elements into different applications and data storage solutions.
• Develop backend components to enhance performance and receptiveness.
• Work on server-side logic and platform for highly responsive web applications.
• Use tools and methodologies to create representations for functions and user interface.
• Develop high-level product specifications with attention to system integration and feasibility.
• Enhance the functionalities of current software systems.
• Work with Python libraries and frameworks.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in Python fundamentals and programming.
• Experience in AWS cloud management and architecting enterprise data solutions.
• Prior experience in automated build pipeline, continuous integration, and deployment.
• Experience with Finance products/software preferred.
• Familiarity with Node.js, web frameworks, and RESTful APIs.
• Expertise in code packaging, release, and deployment management.
• Database knowledge in PostgreSQL, MySQL, relational databases, etc.
• Ability to integrate databases and various data sources into a unified system.
