Job Description

Genpact is inviting applications for the role of Record to Report (Management Trainee/Assistant Manager). As a Management Trainee/Assistant Manager in Record to Report (R2R), you will be responsible for providing transaction processing and ensuring delivery quality in terms of accuracy, completeness, and timeliness on a daily basis. You will handle various R2R activities, including processing standard monthly journals, intercompany & bank reconciliations, balance sheet schedules, and reconciliations. Additionally, you will assist in the implementation of project initiatives, drive continuous improvements, and lead end-to-end accounting work. The ideal candidate should possess excellent interpersonal skills, strong analytical skills, and a high customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

  • Provide R2R transaction processing ensuring delivery quality in terms of accuracy, completeness, and timeliness daily.
  • Process standard monthly journals and perform intercompany & bank reconciliations.
  • Review sub-ledger vs general ledger reconciliations and execute project detail work.
  • Collaborate with the Global Process Owner to standardize R2R activities and ensure all activities on the MEC are updated.
  • Prepare monthly balance sheet schedules & reconciliations and resolve general accounting and reporting issues.
  • Assist in the implementation of project initiatives and provide timely and accurate customer service.
  • Identify, recommend, and implement solutions for continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Support new and existing team members through accurate knowledge transfer and sharing of resources.
  • Lead end-to-end accounting work, including fixed assets, intercompany, and closing and reporting.
  • Drive continuous improvements through quality initiatives and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

  • Minimum qualifications. ACCA, CIMA, CPA, M.Com, or B.Com Graduate.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, negotiation skills, and high customer service orientation.
  • Ability to prioritize optimally and be flexible as needs change.
  • Preferred qualifications. Flexibility to adjust standard guidelines to exceptions while maintaining integrity.
