Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Semi Qualified / MBA professional with 3-5 years of experience in Fixed Asset Accounting. This role is within a prestigious multinational corporation (MNC) located in Noida. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, with a focus on fixed asset management. You will be responsible for ensuring accuracy and compliance in fixed asset accounting processes, interacting with global stakeholders, and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Fixed Asset Accounting Expertise. Utilize your comprehensive understanding of fixed asset accounting principles to oversee the accuracy and completeness of fixed assets sub-ledger. This includes timely capitalization, asset retirement, and month-end closing activities such as reconciliations, journal entries, and adjustments.

  2. Physical Verification and Compliance. Implement and monitor periodic physical verification reviews to ensure the accurate tracking of existing fixed assets. Ensure compliance with both UGAAP and i-GAAP standards, maintaining meticulous records and documentation.

  3. Global Stakeholder Management. Demonstrate exceptional communication skills to effectively liaise with global stakeholders. Your ability to convey complex financial information clearly and concisely will be instrumental in fostering strong working relationships across different geographies.

  4. Variance Analysis and Reporting. Conduct qualitative variance analysis for monthly, quarterly, and yearly Profit and Loss (P&L) and Balance Sheet (BS) movements. Provide valuable insights through detailed reports and presentations, contributing to informed decision-making processes.

  5. Compliance and Control. Uphold the highest standards of compliance by ensuring adherence to SOX/internal control guidelines and statutory regulations. Your attention to detail and thorough understanding of Indian taxation and compliance requirements will be crucial in mitigating risk and maintaining integrity in financial operations.

  6. ERP Functional Knowledge. Leverage your expertise in ERP systems, particularly Oracle, to streamline and optimize fixed asset accounting processes. Provide guidance and support in utilizing ERP functionalities effectively to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Semi Qualified / MBA with a focus on Finance or Accounting.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Fixed Asset Accounting within an F&A or captive department of a reputed MNC.
  • Strong accounting skills and a comprehensive understanding of fixed asset accounting principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with global stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Indian taxation and compliance regulations.
  • Experience with ERP systems, particularly Oracle, is preferred.
