Entech is looking to expand our Lending Product development team. We are looking to add a Senior Software Developer. Entech is a leading provider of lending platform solutions. We deliver enterprise-class solutions leveraging data science, innovative thinking, and proven expertise to help our clients bridge the gap between business and technology. We need "builders" who can help us take our platform to the next level.
Responsibilities
- Understand client requirements and how they translate in application features
- Collaborate with a team of IT professionals to set specifications for new applications
- Design creative prototypes according to specifications
- Write high quality source code to program complete applications within deadlines
- Perform unit and integration testing before launch
- Conduct functional and non-functional testing
- Troubleshoot and debug applications
- Evaluate existing applications to reprogram, update and add new features
- Develop technical documents and handbooks to accurately represent application design and code
Skills
5+ years of solid hands-on experience developing web-based, distributed, or client-server applications using all or almost all of the following technologies: object-oriented analysis and design, .NET (C#, ADO.NET, Entity Framework, ASP.NET MVC, LINQ, WinForms), SQL Server (T-SQL, stored procedures, schema design), XML, HTML, Javascript, Jquery, CSS, MVC design pattern.
- Proficient in enterprise architecture, service-oriented architecture, and/or internet security.
- Understand the software development life cycle.
- Must work well in a team environment.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills. Capable of working directly with business clients and documenting requirements.
- Proficient problem-solving skills
- Computer science/engineering degree preferred.
- Application development using .NET 4.5/C# with Visual Studio 2013, IIS, and SQL Server 2014
