Job Description

As a Software Engineer within Google's Platforms and Ecosystems division, you will be at the forefront of developing next-generation Generative AI features for Google Classroom and Google Workspace for Education. Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
  • 1 year of experience with data structures or algorithms.
  • Experience with Full-Stack Development, Problem Solving, and Backend.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1 year of experience with full stack development, including back-end (e.g., Java, Python, GO, or C++ codebases) and front-end experience (JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS).
  • Experience with Java, TypeScript, Design, PromiseGraph, Spanner, Analytics, Experiment Design.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop next-generation Generative AI features for Google Classroom and Google Workspace for Education.
  • Collaborate with partner engineering teams to design and develop new solutions using LLMs (Large Language Models).
  • Prototype and conduct research to explore innovative solutions for projects.
  • Participate in technical discussions to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
