Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive support to business and technology users across three key geographies: USA, UK, and Hong Kong, with a focus on your specialized area within a full-service team.
• Ensure the seamless operation of databases within predefined SLAs.
• Collaborate with project teams to implement new data structures and schemas into production environments.
• Undertake database optimization and administration tasks to enhance performance and efficiency.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with the broader team.
• Uphold production stability by swiftly resolving incidents, effectively managing resulting problems, and implementing long-term solutions to enhance key metrics such as availability and uptime.

Mandatory Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent field, coupled with extensive practical experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in infrastructure support.
• Proficiency in core technologies including.
  • Sybase
  • Microsoft SQL Server (5+ years of strong knowledge is essential)
  • Windows system administration (strong knowledge required)
• Familiarity with Git-based source control management and versioning tools.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with users and team members.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Previous experience in the Global Markets, Banking, or Financial Services domain.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
