Job Description

As a Data Services Consultant at UKG, you'll play a pivotal role in data conversion within the Human Capital Management domain. Your primary responsibility involves delivering high-quality SQL development and data consulting services to our clients. You'll be tasked with accurately transforming data from clients' source systems into UKG Pro. Strong SQL skills, knowledge of HCM and Payroll, and excellent communication skills are crucial for this role. Familiarity with ETL tools is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive data analysis, providing insights and best practices for data conversion and cleanup.
  • Interpret, validate, and convert data from source to target systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Utilize available tools and templates to optimize the data conversion process and maintain standardization.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams and clients, keeping stakeholders informed of project progress and managing change-control processes.
  • Generate post-conversion documentation, including issue reports and tax verification documents.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to timelines and productivity requirements.
  • Act as a mentor and escalation point for resolving data conversion issues.
  • Provide input on process improvements and support knowledge transfer sessions as needed.
  • Assist in implementation projects to enhance understanding of system configuration and improve data conversion processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in SQL Database, Programming, and Transact SQL.
  • Experience working in project teams.
  • Customer-focused with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and results-driven.
